The Consultant is a very valuable resource person where he or she is found, discipline, field or specialization.

The values are irreplaceable because the Consultant is a compendium of the particular subject matter or specialization .consultants are very important resource people because they tower above the Organization’s key human resource who are just budding specialists. A consultant is someone who has seen it all and decided to be living life on the side of consultative finesse.

The call to become a Consultant is a very challenging call as one must know his subject matter, specialization and call very well like the palm of the hands.

Some of the notable consultants I know include Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala who worked with the World Bank for almost 25 years and consults for so many other Corporates around the world.

The consultant should be ahead of his/her game and be very instructive when it comes to the strategizing of organization’s departments and work Units.

There are Marketing/Sales Consultants, Public Relations Consultants, Legal Consultants. Engineering Consultants,Medical Consultants and very many more Consultants of various hues and colours.

The overaching line is for the Consultant to be a standard bearer and a body of knowledge that can be counted on when the chips are down,someone who is abreast of his subject matter or industry and specialization .

Consultants are the fulcrum on which the body of organizational knowledge and resources abounds.
