Comparative Earnings -The Panagora Blog

The things you see from here, you don’t see it from there.

Many recruiters ask for xyz experience and xyz earnings bracket forgetting that experience is a function of cumulative years of work exposure, certifications, trainings and soft skills development.

Yes, for candidates who ask for xyz amount, it’s the market value parity that they believe they are worth both in the International market and beyond, a comparative estimate of the market value of that person’s experience, soft skills and certifications compared to colleagues in similar roles in any other part of the world.

A candidate that has about 5 specialized certifications in sales, project management, digital marketing & E-Commerce, credit and risk management should naturally cost more than someone who is a generic sales professional because there are so many specialized trainings that the individual has undertaken to be where he is professionally both locally and abroad.

In summary what the organization is paying for is actually the years of experience that the person has taken to build both his career and certifications/soft skills. This is the unseen value that the person is bringing to the role.

$15,000-$20,000 per Annum is good for any Middle level candidate with about 10-15 years experience.
