 YOU CAN'T SAVE EVERYONE

"Why are you upset that Mr. Cucumber told you to leave his son (Mr. Pickle) alone?" -- Mr. Intuition asked me.
"I was just trying to help Mr. Pickle!" -- I responded furiously.
"His God father can't even help him. His family can't even help him. So what makes you think that you could help him?" -- Mr Intuition said to me.
"Well, Mr. Pickle is my best friend and things aren't the same and I want to help speed up Mr. Pickle's healing process." -- I fought back.
"There's no reason to be upset. I understand you want the best for Mr. Pickle and you miss the way things used to be with your best friend but you have no control over Mr. Pickle's situation." -- Mr. Intuition said.
"I know but the least I could do is speak with Mr. Pickle everyday, just as we normally would." -- I said calmly.
"Yes, but sometimes people need space to work out their situation." -- Mr. Intuition said
"I understand, which is exactly why I at least need to hear from my best friend!" -- I insisted in pain.
"What you need to understand is that, no matter how much you love Mr. Pickle there's just nothing you could do." -- Mr. Intuition said
"But why is that? I'm Mr. Pickle's best friend. No one knows him better than me and I can save him." - I said confidently.
"That's where you're wrong. You can't save everyone, not even your best friend. Sometimes people have to help themselves and deal with things on their own." -- Mr Intuition said.
"Oh, so what should I do now?" -- I replied with an open mind.
"Well as his dad, Mr. Cucumber told you, leave Mr. Pickle alone because he has to do this one alone. You can't save him." -- Mr Intuition repeated.
"I hate to see my best friend in pain." -- I pointed out once again.
"I understand, but in this situation the best thing you could do is to give Mr. Pickle his space to heal." -- Mr Intuition reassured me.
"Well of course I care about my best friend and if you say that is what is best, then I will do just that." -- I agreed in acceptance.
"Yes, don't take it personal. He will come to you when he is ready. You have done all you can. You can't save everyone." -- Mr. Intuition said, sealing the deal.
