 Write your goals down.

Writing what you plan to achieve down makes it easier and better. It gives a mental picture of what is coming next, you can put it up in your room to see it each day. When you see them, it keeps you focused, not only that it is a great way to know what you have achieved and helps you to do more.

Set realistic goals

Many people compare themselves to others, and in reality, our strengths and weaknesses are different. Set those goals that you can achieve. Be very specific; give it a time frame and actionable steps to take. If you don’t do this, you end up writing the same thing yearly.

Do a review of your goals periodically.

You can’t set goals and walk away. You have to do a review and see how far you have come, people set plans in January, but by June/July they have forgotten all about it. Life will always get busy, but you can still make time for what you love. When you do a review, it helps you to push more or re-strategize.

Get an accountability partner.

An accountability partner is someone you can trust and respect. This person must tell you the truth, and you should be able to learn from them. You have to share your dreams and the steps you plan to take to achieve them.

Celebrate your small wins

When you achieve one or some of your goals, it is okay to tap yourself and tell yourself well done. When you celebrate your small wins, it helps you do more and gives you a good feeling, sparing you to go for bigger dreams.
